

Each Thursday Evening Derek Liddell, ably assisted by our Ward Visitor Derek Locke, presents a programme of dedications and requests from patients and staff.
In 1986 he was invited to run, as an experiment, a single-handed airshow radio station associated with what is now the Royal International Air Tattoo. The experiment proved a success and until hanging up his headphones at the end of 2008 he headed up a team of 6 broadcasting from the airshow at RAF Fairford for 5 days every July. His arrival in the area in 1982 coincided with the formation of Chippenham Hospital Radio. A founder member, his involvement continues as both broadcaster and chairman.
